Bulgarian outfit PFC Ludogorets have signed the 28-year old Swedish defender Joel Andersson from FC Midtjylland.
Andersson joined FC Midtjylland from BK Häcken in the summer of 2018 and reached 221 games for the former Danish champions.
Andersson quickly turned into a skilled and dedicated defender who made a clear signature on the team.
"Joel has been a great asset to FC Midtjylland throughout his time here.
He is a very skilled and versatile player who has always made a difference in matches or when we have needed him in new roles.
He has assisted to move the club, and he leaves us with plenty of well-acquired recognition", says sporting director Kristian Bak.
Andersson scored six goals and possessed 28 assists during his time in Herning.
He took part in helping FC Midtjylland win two Danish championships and two cup titles, and played in both Champions League and Europa League group matches.
"I have played a lot of matches for FCM, and when I look support, the Champions League group stage matches and the play-off against Slavia Prague stand out as something very special.
It was magical", says Joel Andersson.
"The championships were also very important - some memories will stay with me for the rest of my life.
