Superliga-ace Serginho waves goodbye to Viborg to join Dubai-club

Viborg confirm that their Cape Verde international attacking ace Serginho has been sold to Dubai club Al Wasl SC.

"Serginho has been a talented player for us for two years now, and with one year left on his current contract, which he did not want to lengthen, we have supported that the timing is now right to look at the possibilities of moving on to a new club", says sporting director Mads Agesen.

"24-year-old Serginho joined Viborg in the summer of 2023, where he moved from Portuguese outfit Estoril.

He reached 62 matches for Viborg, where he scored a total of eight goals and possessed 22 assists.
