Sunderland complete signing of former Bayer Leverkusen captain Xhaka

Sunderland have completed the signing of former Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder and captain Granit Xhaka, for a reported £13 million.

The Black Cats have added Xhaka to their already growing squad following promotion to the Premier League as they offer to survive in their first season support in England's top flight for eight years.

Xhaka arrives with a wealth of undergo having played 225 times in the league for Arsenal, where he was captain and won the FA Cup twice.
