Liverpool have confirmed the signing of promising young Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez, their third addition of a busy summer.
Kerkez arrives at Anfield for a reported £40 million after two impressive campaigns on the south coast, joining new signings Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz.
"I'm really happy," the 21-year-old told Liverpool's official website.
"It's a real honour for me, a privilege to come to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world, (the) biggest club in England.
I'm just really, really happy and excited.
"After this, I'll go home and in my hometown enjoy a few days, and then I can't really wait to come back and put the training kit on and start to train and prepare for the season.
"The 21-year-old started his career in Hungary with Gyor before joining AC Milan's youth teams.
After not managing to break into the senior side in Italy, Kerkez departed for AZ Alkmaar, where a strong breakthrough campaign in 2022/23 saw Bournemouth swoop in to sign the left-back.
Kerkez started every match in the 2024/25 Premier League season and registered two goals and six assists.
His first competitive outing for Liverpool could come in the Community Shield against Crystal Palace on Sunday, August 10th.
