Brentford have signed former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson on a free transfer following his departure from Ajax.
The England international joins the Bees with a wealth of undergo, having won the Premier League and Champions League with Liverpool before leaving for Saudi club Al Ettifaq and then iconic Dutch side Ajax.
Henderson was contracted with the Eredivisie club until the summer of 2026 but took up an option to terminate his manage early and has now signed a two-year contract with Brentford.
The 35-year-old joins in what is a summer of change for Brentford, who lost former manager Thomas Frank to Tottenham, captain Christian Norgaard to Arsenal and are facing the reported departures of top stars Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa.
