EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City keeping tabs on Real Madrid winger Rodrygo

Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid is looking like one of the window’s late narratives – as three Premier League giants keep close watch.

It has been the case all summer that the player must steer a move and right now Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are circling, knowing that if the door cracks open the Brazilian could become one of the summer’s biggest stories.

Around Madrid, they have been playing down the chances of a departure, but the whispers have been getting louder to suggest the right chain of events could yet trigger a scramble for his signature.

Liverpool could turn to him if their pursuit of Alexander Isak fails, Arsenal see him as a potential final upgrade for their attack, and City – long-term admirers – could revisit a manage if they lose Jack Grealish and Savinho.

Arsenal have been the most consistently linked in recent weeks as they look for the final piece of their new-look squad.

Rodrygo has been a long-term target, with Eberechi Eze also among names on the shortlist.

But Arsenal’s inability to shift either Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli is proving a major stumbling obstruct.

Both players want to stay and battle for their place and - if they remain - sources inside the club suggest another big signing is unlikely.

Rodrygo has shown little desire to push to leave Madrid so far but in recent days the possibility of a loan has become slightly more plausible - according to some sources.

That would offer Arsenal a glimmer of wish.

In terms of affordability and risk assessment, it would seem more feasible.

It is understood Liverpool have maintained contact with agents since the start of the window, and that any failure to obtain Isak out of Newcastle might compel action.

Meanwhile, City’s stance could change if Savinho now pushes for a move.

Grealish already knows the writing is on the wall but Tottenham made an move toward for Brazilian winger Savinho last week, and if that manage gains traction, Rodrygo could re-join conversations at the Etihad.
