Danish Superliga: Brondby support to winning ways as Silkeborg obtain first win of the season

After two successive defeats, Brondby obtained support to winning ways in a 2-1 win against Vejle in Copenhagen, while Silkeborg finally secured their first win of the season in a 4-2 win at home against FC Nordsjaelland on Sunday afternoon.

After two successive defeats, among others the embarrassing 3-0 away beat against Vikingur Reykjavik in the Conference League, Brondby coach Frederik Birk relieved some of the pressure on his position, when the Copenhagen side obtained support to winning ways in a 2-0 win against high-flying Vejle.

The home side have otherwise possessed a dreadful start to the season and has possessed a string of disappointing results at  domestic and international level in the Conference League.

 But they possessed a bright start as Tonni Adamsen and Younes Bakiz offered them a 2-0 lead within the space of the first fifteen minutes before Finnish youngster Juho Lahteenmaki offered the visitors a lifeline just before half-time.

But Silkeborg still managed to claim all three points after Adamsen converted his second penalty of the afternoon to restore the lead for the homeside with ten minutes to move.

And Adamsen then completed his hat-trick in injury time to offer Silkeborg a 4-2 win.
