Brentford have reportedly reached an agreement with Bournemouth to sign winger Dango Ouattara.
According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Brentford have agreed a club record transfer cost to sign the 23-year-old from Premier League rivals Bournemouth.
He adds that the deal is worth £37million with a further £5m in performance bonuses, with Ouattara set to travel to London to undergo his medical on Friday.
It’s understood that the player pushed for the transfer to Brentford after failing to earn the full trust of manager Andoni Iraola.
Outtara had a productive 2024-25 on the South Coast, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in his 37 games across all competitions.
He will now become Brentford’s successor for Bryan Mbeumo, who joined Man United for a reported transfer cost of £71 million, including performance bonuses.
